fleba_il_fenicio It's really hard to chose a single song from an album of this level. Dominated by the bajan sounds and an excellent mix of black raw elements and atmospheric passages, all the songs are fused into a one chilling enchanting trip where the cold of syberian landscapes meets the warmth of folklore. A clean, polite mixing enhances every involved instrument, delivering a definitive listening experience. I am happy after more than 20 years with metal I can still be surprised by this music. Favorite track: The Shrouded in Darkness.

aliciakay47 This band is incredibly refreshing, and innovative in a genre that has become rather stale. Grima transports you to the snow covered wilderness of Russia, and leaves you to fend for yourself. It's not your everyday, run-of-the-mill atmospheric black metal. It's truly something more. Their use of various instruments you seldom hear applied to black metal speaks to their level of creativity. 10/10 album!

I'd say Havukruunu is the inheritor of Quorthon and Bathory. Male choirs, vikingesque themes and tales of Finnish paganism from the happier times before our ancestors were made to convert or die by sword of blooded cross.
